- 2 Prenatal Sessions: Your doula will meet with you and your partner to become acquainted and to explore and discuss your priorities, as well as any fears and concerns. She will learn your preferences for pain management and the use of pain medications. She will inform you of possible labor options and encourage you to educate yourself in these options as she assists you in developing your birth plan. She will review the childbirth process, different stages of labor, and comfort measures. The prenatal sessions are designed to help you become informed and confident about your pregnancy and the childbirth process, as well as build a trusting relationship with your doula.
- Phone Support: Unlimited calls and texts for questions, concerns or encouragement.
- Continuous Labor Support: Once labor begins, contact your doula and together you will decide when you need her to arrive — either at your home or she can join you at the birthing location. Typically, during early labor, phone support is provided for encouragement, reassurance, and guidance; and she will join you closer to active labor. Your doula will provide continuous emotional, informational, and physical support. She will use comfort measures and encourage position changes with movements conducive to labor progression to help the baby rotate & descend. She will educate, encourage, and provide emotional support to your partner and family so that they may participate at their comfort level and according to your wishes. Your doula will provide an experienced and objective viewpoint to you and your partner.
- Postpartum Visit: Soon after your birth, your doula will visit you in your home to check on you and to make sure you feel comfortable with your healing and childcare abilities. If desired, she will listen and help you process the birth and discuss your experience. She can assist with lactation advice and if needed we can refer you to a wonderful IBCLC that we have worked with for 30+ years. We can also make suggestions and referrals to postpartum doulas, pelvic floor therapists, postpartum support groups, postpartum massage therapists, chiropractors, etc.
(Alternatively, if you prefer, we can conduct the postpartum visit virtually.)
Our Fee: $1050
- This includes the prenatal sessions, unlimited phone support, continuous labor support, and the postpartum visit.
- A 50% deposit of $525.00 is required as a retainer. The remaining balance should be paid by week 36 of your pregnancy.

My wife and I were skeptical when we first heard about the whole doula thing and thought “we don’t need a doula.” Nothing could have been further from the truth! From our first meeting all the way through the birth of our first child, our doula was friendly, knowledgeable, and professional! If you are on the fence, just call and ask about them, if it’s a bad fit-no worries don’t hire them. But if you want someone who is going to take care of you– THESE ARE THE PEOPLE YOU WANT IN YOUR CORNER! We still have a great relationship with our doula and hope to hire her again for our next pregnancy and birth.

Dianne and Brigette were so informative on every question and concern I could of ever had. They are so sweet, caring and knowledgeable. They know many people in the area have great advice and most importantly make sure your voice is heard through and through. They helped me deliver my precious daughter in Feb of 2018. Janelle was awesome too, she’s great at answering questions about placentas and after birth. I am so grateful I chose a doula with my first birth and my doula became a great mentor and friend!

1st Orlando Doula baby: With my first pregnancy, I knew I wanted to have a natural birth. I wouldn’t have been able to do it without Orlando Doula. Brigette and Liz were absolutely amazing and knew exactly what I needed to help with contractions. They encouraged me and helped me to have the birth experience I truly desired. I definitely recommended their service!! A few weeks have gone by and they still call/text me to see how things are going- it shows they truly care.
2nd Orlando Doula baby: If you are pregnant and want more guidance and support throughout your pregnancy, labor & delivery, postpartum, breastfeeding, etc; I encourage you to look at Orlando Doula. Dianne and her team are the best group of women to have as a support system regardless of the delivery you choose to have. I highly recommend them and can testify that doulas truly make the path to have a healthier and safer delivery.

I honestly can’t say enough about Orlando Doula! Last year I was pregnant with my first child. I was nervous about labor and delivery, and I also wanted to have the best experience possible. I wanted someone by my side who is knowledgeable, encouraging, and would support me whether I had a natural birth or not. After my first phone call with Orlando Doula founder, Dianne, I knew I’d found the right people. Just talking with her made me feel so much calmer and excited about what was to come. Brigette was my doula for the big day! This amazing woman stuck with me through my entire labor (30 hours) and delivery (3 hours). I honestly don’t know how I would have done it without her. My husband and I tell everyone that hiring Brigette was the best thing we did! If you are on the fence about hiring a doula, do it!

There truly aren’t enough words to explain my love and appreciation for Orlando Doula. I had Dianne as my doula when I was pregnant with my son and she was a Godsend for me, my husband, and my pregnancy as a whole. Even throughout my pregnancy, whenever I had a random question about what could be a normal pregnancy symptom or if I was feeling anxious about something, I could call or text her anytime of the day and she was there to offer support. Of course, there were some concerns I had that she gave me the advice to call and ask my OB, as it was out of her scope, but she was ALWAYS there for me and I never felt like I had to go through anything alone. Toward the end of my pregnancy, Dianne held a few “classes” for me and my husband to prepare us for the L&D process, what to do at home, when to go to the hospital, what would happen in triage, how to advocate for ourselves in the event we might have to rush there before she could come in with us, and it was helpful. She also taught us breathing techniques and how to bear down when it was time to push, etc. She made me aware of my rights as a patient and was always there to offer words of encouragement. I can honestly say I felt supported, prepared, and empowered before going into delivery because of her. My labor went nothing like I had planned (go figure) and I had to go to the hospital and be admitted before my contractions had started because of a tear in my water. Dianne showed up shortly after I called her in a panic at 2am… Just her presence made my husband and I feel at ease, and she stayed by my side the entire time while the medical staff was in and out of the room. My son was posterior, so my back labor was intense, and she offered counter pressure to help with the pain during contractions, helped me find different positions to manage discomfort, held my hair back and rubbed my back while I vomited. She was also a great support for my husband, as it was his first experience as well.. and oddly enough, as helpful as SHE was, it never felt like she was taking over my husband’s role as a support system. Rather, they made a great team at caring for me and supporting me. When I felt like giving up and felt unsure of my ability, she was both firm and gentle in getting me to believe in myself and not give up, constantly reminding me that I could do it and that this was “pain with a purpose”. I could honestly go on and on about how great Orlando Doula is, but I wouldn’t have the time. If I end up pregnant again in the future, I’d definitely hire them again. It’s so important for pregnant women to feel supported and have a professional with hands-on knowledge and experience in the birthing process by their side while they live out the most challenging, yet beautiful, moment of their entire lives.

I can’t recommend Orlando Doula enough. During my pregnancy, my doula (Brigette) was in constant contact with me – checking in for questions, providing information and resources, and preparing me for the laboring process. The service offered to me during the laboring process was more than I could have imagined. In addition to supporting me herself (for 45 hours), she helped my husband be the best birthing partner (it’s not easy being a first time dad either). It was important to me to be an active participant in any decisions needing to be made during the birth and because of Orlando Doula I felt informed and empowered to speak up and ask questions; I was 100% confident in all decisions I made. Highly, highly recommend Orlando Doula!

My wife and I were SO GRATEFUL for the guidance and coaching provided by Brigette and Dianne. They were so well-equipped to help my wife and I with our goals as we welcomed our new daughter to the world, and thanks to Brigette we truly had the best possible experience. As a husband and brand-new dad, I can say that partnering with a doula is worth every penny. Brigette was absolutely the best support for me as well! We are so grateful for our new daughter and Brigette played such a great role before, during childbirth, and during the postpartum phase.

After hearing my friends rave about using Orlando Doula for their pregnancies and labor, I decided when I got pregnant, to take an introduction meeting with Brigette. My husband and I met with her for coffee one night and we instantly knew she would be the perfect addition to our little birthing team. She’s warm and bubbly and cares SO much about new mamas and their partners. Without going into too much detail about my pregnancy and labor, I will say Brigette was my rock the whole time. My pregnancy was pretty smooth and I could text Brigette anytime about anything. When it came to my labor, I had a long one, over 24 hours and Brigette was there the whole time and even a few hours after that long stay at the hospital. I can easily say there is no way I could’ve gotten through my pregnancy or labor without her. She was so supportive in every way and she and my husband made a great team for me. It was so reassuring to know she was there while my husband ate or took a nap to make sure he was awake for vital parts of my labor. She also listened to everything I needed and we worked off my birth plan even when there were complications. I will continue to tell upcoming moms about Orlando Doula and Brigette and highly recommend them to everyone. They are truly angels to help guide us through this amazing journey and I know I won’t go through my next pregnancy without Brigette.

I used their services in 2017 with my son, who was my firstborn. Since my first meeting with Dianne she was nothing but wonderful- kind, informative & easy to talk with. She met with me several times before birth and was always easily available by phone for questions. I felt very prepared for the birth process because of her education.
Unfortunately, my little guy came a few weeks early so Dianne was unable to be present at my birth. However, my back-up doulas Ellen & Brigette were simply fantastic! They responded immediately and were so sweet and supportive to both my husband & I throughout my labor. These ladies made my dream of a natural birth a reality & I was able to avoid use of pain meds/ epidural as I had wished. I can never say enough good things about them. My son’s birth is a deeply cherished memory because of my doulas and their labor support!

Dianne and Brigette were truly a blessing to me and my family! I had two previous births where I felt like what I wanted wasn’t heard and definitely was not executed. On November 20th 2017 Brigette made sure that my vision was seen through. She was so caring, so sweet, everything I needed to get me through my first natural birth. She wouldn’t let me give up. She was a rock star and made me feel like one when it was all said and done. They are forever apart of my family, I wish I had them 5 years ago for my first birthing experience.

I had such a great experience with Orlando Doula. I felt supported throughout my pregnancy and through every decision I made during labor. I can’t imagine my delivery or pregnancy without them.

Having Serenity as our Doula was a Godsend. Though we chose to meet her at the hospital when my wife went into active labor, she was ready and willing to come to our home, even though we live almost an hour away. Serenity had previously met with us and had a full understanding of our birth plan. She was supportive and confident during the 21 hours of active labor at the hospital, standing with my wife’s decision to give birth to our little girl naturally, without an epidural, and prepared to stand with us if the hospital tried to interfere with our birth plan. Serenity was not only strong and supportive to my wife, but was careful to consider my needs, as well. On several occasions, she offered to take my place next to my wife so I could grab a short nap, and encouraged me to eat for energy and keep hydrated. When it came time for the final push, I was strengthened and ready to be there 100% for my wife. Serenity was right there, coaching my wife to breathe for the baby and encouraging her all the way. She is knowledgeable, dedicated, and compassionate. I am so thankful we had her at our side during the entire process, from putting our plan together, to being a part of the birth of our beautiful girl. But, she didn’t stop there. She continued to follow up with us after the birth. She is an amazing young woman who absolutely loves what she does…and it showed in every aspect of her commitment to us and our baby girl. God bless you Serenity!
-John & Elizabeth
From the moment we met Serenity we knew we wanted to have her around for our birth. Her knowledge and obvious passion left a great impression on us. Knowing that Serenity was not yet certified (this was a birth from years ago) made us a little nervous but we decided to follow our instincts and believe it was the best decision we could have made for our birth. Serenity made us feel comfortable and secure. She was thorough in making sure we had a plan and supported our vision every step of the way from our first meeting, and until our daughter was born. During the labor and delivery, Serenity couldn’t have served us better. She was cool, calm, and collected which helped me better manage my contractions. She followed my birth plan and when things went not quite as planned, she had another way/idea to help me and the father. Not only was she amazing for me but for my partner too. At first, he wasn’t really for a doula; however, he kept an open mind and decided to try it out and he believes he couldn’t have made a better decision. After experiencing labor with her, he believes he needed her more than I did. She was able to give him a break when he needed one and emotional support when labor was getting intense. We both now realize what an asset she was in helping me to have a natural birth. This birth couldn’t have happened without her. We are forever indebted and very grateful for all that she did before, during and even after, coming to our home to help us transition into parenthood more easily. We will always be sure to hire Serenity to be our doula for every birth, she is more than a doula, she is a true friend.
-Becca
Me and my wife were very happy with her (Serenity’s) service. From the beginning, we felt she was somebody that you can trust. She was very knowledgeable about prepping for the labor and was very willing to help out. She was there and helping during the whole birthing process, making sure that my wife was as comfortable as possible. We would highly recommend her services.

It has long been reported that consumption of the placenta can be significantly beneficial during the postpartum period. Placenta capsules can be used to enhance milk supply, reduce postpartum depression and anxiety, balance your hormones, reduce fatigue and increase your energy, increase iron levels, lessen postpartum bleeding, and contribute to a quicker postpartum recovery time. If you are interested in this service we will put you in touch with Jeanelle Coto, one of our doulas and Placenta Encapsulation Specialist. Jeanelle is certified in blood borne pathogen safety and adheres to strict OSHA guidelines during the entire process of the encapsulation/tincture. The fees for Jeanelle’s services are as follows:
Placenta Encapsulation: $200.00
Placenta Encapsulation and Tincture: $250.00
A $100.00 deposit should be made for placenta services in order to get on the schedule. The balance is due upon delivery of the product. We can usually accommodate last minute orders for placenta services, even when ordered from the hospital – the fee would be due at that time.
For more information about placenta encapsulation please click HERE to visit Jeanelle’s website.
